Following Saturdays performance against Colchester we were all confident that we could turnover Wycombe despite a run of pitiful away performances. Thank the Lord we managed to get a morale boosting, confidence building victory.
This will also buy John Barnes some more time, more time to introduce his football methodology, and more time to win over the majority of the Tranmere faithful. As long as we continue to play with spirit and determination then many of the fans won’t mind too much, but if we return the side with absolutely no back bone then his days will again be numbered.
Millwall on Saturday will be a totally different prospect, but for now I and a lot of the Super White Army will sleep better tonight!

Amen to that! I still think we have a half decent squad in this league, but it remains to be seen whether JB is capable of taking our boys forward. He’s definately given himself another couple of weeks but 7 points from a possible 30 is shocking by anyones standards.
Lets just enjoy the win for now because it was starting to look very grim down there
