Tranmere take on Charlton Athletic at 3pm today at Prenton Park. Charlton are sitting pretty at the top of league one and I think I speak for every Tranmere fan on the face of the earth when I say we’re in desperate need of a morale boosting win. The thing is with Tranmere Rovers, they’re totally unpredictable, and the games you expect us to win, we lose; and the games you expect us to lose, we win.
You might say some of this aura has been lost under John Barnes, but I’ve thought the same under previous management, so I put it down to our chapel (Prenton Park!). There’s something that takes hold of you when you know you’re the underdog and its a predicament that Tranmere and the Super White Army thrive under.
Team news it looks like Thomas-Moore, Shay Logan and Gunning will return, so who knows, lets just get behind the boys and see what happens.
