Rumour has it that he has but I doubt we’ll know more until the morning. People have been saying they’ve heard it on the radio but nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Can’t say I’m surprised but glad PJ is acting early because Barnes hasn’t filled me with any confidence from day one. Even after the game yesterday he would take no responsibility at all, blaming Mahon for giving the ball away for the winning goal.

I think with a competent manager in charge, he’ll get the lads well organised and hard to beat again. I don’t think the squads as bad as the table suggests. Bring on tomorrow… Could be an interesting Monday with plenty of rumours flying about for Barnes’s replacement!

It looks like the Monday press conference has gone ahead, and unless the club release a statement JB is still charge. I really can’t understand his logic, it’s apparently clear that he isn’t cut out for a career in football management, and after losing the fans and the dressing room it’s crazy for him to continue.

I wouldn’t mind him being number 2, but we need to sort out the basics and although I like managers who pinpoint blame JB doesn’t make the required changes that everyone in the ground can see. Our midfield has been invisible this season, but he still sticks with them every game.

This is a low point for the club…

Played 7, lost 6, conceded 18, scored 6. Says it all really!

He blames everyone but himself, never drops players underperforming and always brings up that we have no money in interviews. Stinks of bad management

Please walk Barnesy. I’m not cut out for a lot of jobs, difference is I wouldn’t apply for them if i knew i wasn’t able. It’s Johnsons fault really for hiring him. How many does he have to lose before he goes?!

If it is true then I am glad. I have met Barnesy many a time over the years personally and he is a polite and pleasant man with all the time in the world to chat with you. As a manager though, he is a complete failure, and I hope that this time PJ will get it right. This club is dying very slowly, with no money, lowering attendances, and very little positives to shout about. If things dont pick up quickly we will be a serious contender for relegation, which after the last couple of seasons if not acceptable.

The only problem is, who is cut out for a job with low morale, no money and quite frankly a p!ss poor squad?
